Image generation and editing
Ordify AI lets you create and edit images using advanced AI capabilities directly in the chat interface. This guide covers generating new images from text prompts and applying AI-powered edits to existing images.
Generating images
You can generate images directly from the chat interface by describing what you want in natural language. The system will automatically route your request to the right image generation capabilities — you don't need to toggle a separate tool.
Creating photorealistic scenes
Use photographic terminology to specify camera angles, lens types, lighting conditions, and details.
- Template: A photorealistic [shot type] of [subject], [action or expression], set in [environment]. The scene is illuminated by [lighting description], creating a [mood] atmosphere. Captured with a [camera/lens details], emphasizing [key textures and details]. The image should be in a [aspect ratio] format.
- Example: Detailed macro shot of a dandelion seed puff. Each thin, white parachute is adorned with glistening dew drops, resembling tiny jewels. The light refracts and reflects off the water, creating a soft, ethereal glow and a shallow depth of field with creamy bokeh.
Generating accurate text in images
Ordify can generate images containing text — ideal for presentations, flyers, and branding materials.
- Template: Create a [image type] for [brand/concept] with the text "[text to render]" in a [font style]. The design should be [style description], with a [color scheme].
Crafting product mockups and commercial photography
- Template: A high-resolution, studio-lit product photograph of a [product description] on a [background surface/description]. The lighting is a [lighting setup, e.g., three-point softbox setup] to [lighting purpose]. The camera angle is a [angle type] to showcase [specific feature]. Ultra-realistic, with sharp focus on [key detail]. [Aspect ratio].
Designing with minimalism and negative space
Excellent for backgrounds where text will be overlaid.
- Template: A minimalist composition featuring a single [subject] positioned in the [bottom-right/top-left/etc.] of the frame. The background is a vast, empty [color] canvas, creating significant negative space. Soft, subtle lighting. [Aspect ratio].
Sequential art for storytelling (comic panels/storyboards)
- Template: A single comic book panel in a [art style] style. In the foreground, [character description and action]. In the background, [setting details]. The panel has a [dialogue/caption box] with the text "[Text]". The lighting creates a [mood] mood. [Aspect ratio].
Editing images
To edit an image, upload or paste an image into the conversation, then describe the changes you want. Ordify will apply the requested edits while preserving style and context.
Adding and removing elements
Provide an image and describe the desired change. Ordify maintains the original image's style, lighting, and perspective.
- Example: Convert this residential floor plan into an isometric, photo-realistic 3D rendering of the office space.
Inpainting for targeted edits
Ordify can define a "mask" to edit a specific area of an image while leaving the rest unchanged.
- Example: Using the provided image of the newsletter, change the event to the new webinar with the details below.
Style transfer
Upload an image and request that its content be recreated in a different artistic style.
- Example: Transform the provided photograph of the building into an impressionistic painting.
Advanced composition: combining multiple images
Provide multiple images as context to create a new composite scene.
- Example: Create a new image by combining the elements from the provided images. Take the [bubble graphs from image 1] and place the different headshots from the org chart [element from image 2]. The final image should be an org chart with modern graphs featuring the headshots of our leaders with their titles.
High-fidelity detail preservation
To ensure critical details such as faces or logos are preserved during edits, describe them explicitly.
- Example: Using the provided images, place the logo from [logo.png] onto the shirt in [photo.png]. Ensure that the features of the logo and the person in the image remain unchanged. The logo should be placed on the pocket of the polo shirt.
Best practices for optimal results
- Be hyper-specific: The more detail you provide, the greater your control. Instead of "fantasy armor," write: "ornate elven plate armor, etched with silver leaf patterns, with a high collar and pauldrons shaped like falcon wings."
- Provide context and intent: Explain the purpose of the image. "Create a logo for a high-end, minimalist skincare brand" yields better results than simply "Create a logo."
- Iterate and refine: Use Ordify's conversational capabilities to make incremental changes: "That's great, but can you make the lighting a bit warmer?" or "Keep everything the same, but change the character's expression to be more serious."
- Use step-by-step instructions: For complex scenes, break your prompt into sequential steps.
- Control the camera: Use photographic and cinematic language — "wide-angle shot," "macro shot," "low-angle perspective" — to guide composition.
