Brand kit

Your brand kit holds your organization's logos, colours, fonts, and voice in one place. Set it up once and everyone in the organization can put it on a deck in a single click, without hunting for the right hex code or the current logo file.

Today the brand kit is applied to decks. Voice is stored for reference and is not yet read automatically.

Where it lives

Open Organization and select the Brand tab.

The Brand tab on the Organization page, with the Logos, Colours, Type, and Voice sections of the brand kit

The brand kit — logos, colours, fonts, and voice, shared with everyone in the organization.

Only organization admins can change the brand kit. Everyone else sees the same values read-only and can still use them: copy a hex code, download a logo, and apply the brand to any deck.

Logos

Logos belong to the organization rather than to a deck, so there is one file to update when the logo changes and every deck picks it up.

  • Select + Logo to upload one. PNG or SVG with a transparent background works best.
  • Select any logo to make it the primary one — that is the logo placed on slides. The primary logo is outlined.
  • Upload more than one if you need light and dark variants.

Logos are stored in your media library under Brand, where only an admin can delete them.

A branded deck shows the logo on every slide by default, and each deck can change that for itself — see Where the logo appears.

Colours

Four colours carry the brand:

ColourUsed for
Backgroundthe slide background
Textbody copy and headings
Brandyour primary colour — titles, key accents
Accenthighlights, chart series, callouts

Each swatch has its hex value beneath it. Select a hex chip to copy it, which is the quickest way to hand your palette to someone working outside Ordify.

Pull colours from your website

Rather than entering four hex values by hand, admins can enter a site address — for example https://yourcompany.com — and select Get colours. Ordify reads the site's palette and fills the swatches in, which you can then adjust.

Type

Set a Heading font and a Body font. Both default to Use the style's font, which lets whichever deck style you pick supply the typeface.

Preferred deck style sets the design language new decks start from — spacing, shape, and slide treatment. Leave it on No preference if you would rather choose per deck.

Voice

A short description of how your organization sounds, for example: "Plain, confident, never salesy. We say what a thing does before we say why it matters."

Saved for reference

Voice is stored so your team has one written answer to "how do we sound?". Nothing writes with it automatically yet.

Save

Select Save brand kit. The change is immediate for everyone in the organization — anyone building a deck from that point on gets the updated brand.

Use it on a deck

Once the kit is configured, it appears wherever a deck's look is chosen.

Building a new deck — in the Deck design panel, switch Brand on at the top.

The Deck design panel with Brand switched on, showing the brand's colours in the slide preview and the Logo placement controls

With Brand on, the preview picks up your colours and fonts, and a Logo section appears.

Colours, fonts, and logo are applied together, and switching it back off restores what you had before. The panel's Your brand section shows the kit that will be applied, with an Edit link into the brand kit itself.

In the deck editor — open Design. If your organization has a brand kit, a panel offers Use our brand, which stages the brand into the form for you to review and apply. Edit opens the brand kit itself, where admins can also select Apply to this deck.

Where the logo appears

Once a deck has a logo, the Logo section in the deck design panel sets how much of the deck it appears on:

OptionResult
Every slidethe default
Title onlythe opening slide
Title & endthe opening and closing slides
Noneno logo on this deck

This is per-deck, and placement is all it changes — you cannot upload a logo here. Keeping the logo off one deck therefore never means removing it from the organization.

See Decks for the full deck workflow.
