Slack
Ordify for Slack brings AI directly into your team conversations. Instead of leaving Slack to use AI and copying results back, you can tag @ordify in any thread or send a direct message and collaborate in real-time.
What makes Ordify for Slack different
- Thread-based context: Ordify reads the entire Slack thread — messages, files, decisions, and discussions. It understands what your team is working on and maintains conversation history throughout the thread.
- Real-time collaboration: Everyone in the thread sees Ordify working in real-time. Responses stream as they're generated.
- Flexible agent selection: Use
@ordifyalone for your channel's default agent, or@ordify @AgentNamefor a specialized agent. Set a default agent per channel. - Internet search integration: Enable internet search for channels or threads to get current information.
- File attachments: Share files directly in conversations. Ordify processes images, documents, and other files as context.
- Direct Messages (DMs): Have private conversations with Ordify — no
@ordifyneeded, just start chatting. - Thread control: Type
muteto stop Ordify from responding, orunmuteto resume. Control search per thread with@ordify search on/off. - Slash commands:
/ordify-set-agent <agent-name>— Set default agent for channel/ordify-agent— Show current default agent/ordify-search on/off— Enable or disable internet search for channel
How it works
- Tag @ordify in any thread: Describe what you need. Optionally mention a specific agent.
- Ordify reads the thread: It sees the entire thread context — messages, files, decisions, and discussion history.
- Everyone sees Ordify working: Responses stream in real-time and the whole team can see progress.
- Team collaborates on results: Everyone can review, suggest changes, and iterate in the same thread.
