How it works​

1. Mention @ordify in any channel​

In any channel or thread, mention @ordify and describe your task. Optionally mention a specific agent.

2. Ordify reads recent context​

Ordify uses recent channel or thread history and any attached files to understand the conversation and provide relevant answers.

3. Results appear in the channel​

Ordify posts results directly in the channel so the team can review and continue the conversation in one place.

Key features​

Account linking (required)​

Each Discord user must link their Ordify account. Unlinked users will be prompted to connect.

Agent selection​

  • Default agent: Mention @ordify alone
  • Specific agent: Mention @ordify @AgentName

Direct Messages (DMs)​

DM Ordify for private conversations. No @ordify mention required — same features as channel conversations.

File attachments​

Attach images and documents directly in Discord. Ordify uses them as context for responses.

Internet search control​

Installation​

Connect Discord to Ordify​

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Discord
  2. Click Connect to link your Ordify account
  3. Complete the OAuth flow

Add the bot to a server​

In Settings → Integrations → Discord, click Add to Discord and select the server.

Getting started​

  1. Open any Discord channel or thread
  2. Mention @ordify and describe what you need
  3. Optionally mention a specialized agent
  4. Ordify responds in the same channel

Tips for effective use​

✅ Good: "Based on the discussion above, draft a project summary with next steps." ❌ Less effective: "Summarize" with no context.

✅ Good: "@ordify @ResearchAgent Find current market size and top competitors." ❌ Less effective: "@ordify Find market size" (uses default agent).

Frequently asked questions​

Do I need an Ordify account to use Ordify in Discord? Yes. Each Discord user must link their Ordify account before receiving responses.

Can I use Ordify in private channels? Yes, if the bot is added to the server and has access to the channel.

Does Ordify see all messages in a channel? Ordify only reads recent context when you mention it or DM it. It does not continuously monitor all messages.

What file types does Ordify support? Ordify supports images and common document types attached in Discord messages.
