How It Works​

1. Mention @ordify in Any Channel​

In any channel or thread, mention @ordify and describe your task. You can also mention a specific agent to use specialized capabilities.

Examples:

2. Ordify Reads Recent Context​

Ordify uses recent channel or thread history and any attached files to understand the conversation and provide relevant answers.

3. Results Appear in the Channel​

Ordify posts results directly in the channel so the team can review and continue the conversation in one place.

Key Features​

Account Linking (Required)​

Ordify responses are tied to the Discord user who sent the message:

  • Each Discord user must link their Ordify account
  • Unlinked users will be prompted to connect

Agent Selection​

Use specialized agents by mentioning them in your message:

  • Default agent: Mention @ordify alone
  • Specific agent: Mention @ordify @AgentName

Direct Messages (DMs)​

You can DM Ordify for private conversations:

  • No @ordify mention required
  • Same features as channel conversations

File Attachments​

Attach files directly in Discord:

  • Images and documents are supported
  • Ordify uses attachments as context for responses

Internet Search Control​

Enable or disable internet search per channel or thread:

  • Channel: Applies to the whole channel

Installation​

Connect Discord to Ordify​

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Discord
  2. Click Connect to link your Ordify account
  3. Complete the OAuth flow

Add the Bot to a Server​

In Settings → Integrations → Discord, click Add to Discord and select the server.

Getting Started​

  1. Open any Discord channel or thread
  2. Mention @ordify and describe what you need
  3. Optionally mention a specialized agent
  4. Ordify responds in the same channel

That's it. No complex configuration required.

Tips for Effective Use​

Provide Context​

✅ Good: "Based on the discussion above, draft a project summary with next steps."

❌ Less Effective: "Summarize" with no context.

Choose the Right Agent​

✅ Good: "@ordify @ResearchAgent Find current market size and top competitors."

❌ Less Effective: "@ordify Find market size" (uses default agent).

Use Search When Needed​

Enable internet search for current information:

Disable it for faster responses:

Do I need an Ordify account to use Ordify in Discord?​

Yes. Each Discord user must link their Ordify account before receiving responses.

Can I use Ordify in private channels?​

Yes, if the bot is added to the server and has access to the channel.

Does Ordify see all messages in a channel?​

Ordify only reads recent context when you mention it (or DM it). It does not continuously monitor all messages.
