Mastering Ordify Chat: A Guide to Enhanced Interaction and Productivity

Ordify's chat interface is designed to be your intelligent partner, helping you extract insights, generate content, and streamline your workflows. This guide will walk you through the core functionalities, empowering you to leverage Ordify for maximum business impact.

I. Navigating Your Chat Sessions​

The Sessions Menu, located on the left sidebar, is your central hub for managing your interactions.

  • Create New Chat: Begin a fresh conversation with a blank slate. This is ideal for tackling new projects or exploring distinct topics.
  • Search for Old Ones: Quickly locate past conversations by keyword. This allows you to revisit previous analyses, ideas, or generated content without starting from scratch.
  • Switch Between Sessions: Seamlessly transition between different active chats. This is crucial for multitasking and managing multiple projects or research threads simultaneously.

II. Interacting with Your AI in the Main Chat Area​

The Main Chat Area is where your dialogue with Ordify takes place.

  • Basic Chat: Simply input your query or prompt into the text box. Ordify will generate a response based on its vast knowledge base. For a deeper dive into crafting effective prompts, please refer to the Prompt 101 section.

III. Enhancing Your Prompts with Context​

To unlock more precise and relevant responses, you can enrich your prompts with context. The "+" icon near the prompt input area reveals the Context Menu.

Document Context​

  • Analyze and Interpret: Ordify can process and understand content from a wide variety of documents, including text, images, diagrams, charts, and tables. This capability extends to very long documents, up to 1000 pages.
  • Seamless Integration: Add documents directly from your computer, Google Drive, or retrieve previously uploaded files from your Document Library. You can even find documents shared within your organization.
  • Cross-Document Analysis: Ordify's advanced document understanding allows you to reference single documents or even cross-reference information across multiple documents simultaneously. This is invaluable for complex research or report generation.
  • Image-Based PDFs: Unlike many other systems, Ordify excels at processing PDF documents that contain images, extracting information where others might fail.

Image Understanding​

  • Powerful Visual Processing: Ordify is equipped with sophisticated image processing and computer vision capabilities.
  • Diverse Tasks: Perform tasks such as image captioning, classification, and visual question answering. Ordify can recognize billions of visual objects.
  • Multi-Image Processing: Upload and analyze multiple images at once to gain comprehensive insights.
  • Screenshot Integration: Easily copy and paste images directly into the text area for immediate analysis, making it perfect for processing screenshots of data, charts, or user interfaces.

Add Session Context​

  • Continuity and Depth: Incorporate the history of previous chat sessions into your current conversation. This allows you to pick up where you left off, build upon prior discussions, or provide essential background information to your AI.

IV. Leveraging Powerful Tools​

Beyond basic interaction, Ordify offers a suite of powerful tools to elevate your AI's capabilities. Access these tools via the Tools dropdown menu.

RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)​

  • Definition: When the RAG tool is activated, Ordify intelligently references information from your custom knowledge store.
  • Real-time Training: Any information relevant to your current conversation will be automatically pulled and incorporated. This effectively acts as real-time training for your AI, ensuring it's drawing from your specific business data and expertise.

Thinking Mode​

  • Enhanced Reasoning: While this mode may be slightly slower, it significantly improves the AI's reasoning capabilities.
  • Accuracy and Verbosity: If you require higher accuracy and more detailed, verbose answers, activating Thinking Mode is highly recommended.
  • Real-time Web Access: This tool connects Ordify to real-time web content and supports multiple languages.
  • Up-to-Date Information: By accessing the internet, Ordify can provide more accurate answers and cite verifiable sources that extend beyond its base training data.
  • Grounding for Accuracy: This feature is essential for building applications that increase factual accuracy, access real-time information, and provide citations. Specifically:
    • Increase Factual Accuracy: Reduces model hallucinations by grounding responses in real-world, up-to-date information.
    • Access Real-time Information: Enables answers to questions about recent events and emerging topics.
    • Provide Citations: Clearly shows the sources for the model's claims, enhancing transparency and trust.

Voice Mode​

  • Natural Conversational Flow: Ordify AI features an advanced Voice Mode for natural, fluid interactions.
  • Seamless Interruption: You can interrupt the AI at any time by simply speaking normally. Ordify is designed to understand and respond to your spoken input fluidly.
  • Real-time Internet Access: While in Voice Mode, you can ask the AI to look up information from the internet, just as you would in text mode.
  • Comprehensive Transcripts: All your voice conversations are automatically transcribed. This creates a valuable record of your interactions, allowing you to easily reference any output, data, or information the AI has provided.
  • Customization: Personalize your experience by selecting different voices in Account > Settings.
